Have you prepared Christmas cards? Japan has New Year’s card tradition, similar to the Western practice of exchanging Christmas cards. Japan Post is now offering a new service for New Year’s card called “Sound Nenga (New Year’s card with sound)”.
The service allows us to get prerecorded message or music QR-corded. Then print the QR cord on New Year’s card so that recipients can get the message or music by using the bar cord reader of their mobile phone and hear it. (QR cord is 2D cord something like bar cord available only in
Japan and almost all mobile phones in Japan have installed the bar cord reader.)
This fun service will expand the possibility of greeting cards. Recording guitar playing or promotional songs for business? What’s your idea?
